I use it most of the time. The cop actually reached into my car, turned on my signal then walked to the back of the car. He then came back to my window and went "huh, looks like it does work".

I would assume a judge would throw one out.

Doesn't everybody who drives that stretch of road know that it has been a great revenue generator for years. I think they have a van permanently parks on the North bound side. Then they have two standard spots on the South bound side.

Don't speed from Johh Laurie until the end of the golf course ever.

Just to get one thing straight, the speed limit along that stretch of 14th Ave from John Laurie until 16th Ave is 50 or 60 km/h?

I speed so I can outrun all those slowpoke, unsafe turtles that toddle along at the speed limit. I figure if I drive fast and break free from the pack, them I'm safe because there's nobody close to me to crash into me. So really, I speed for safety reasons. Therefore, I feel I shouldn't be ticketed for engaging in safe driving practices.

I wrote this post just to turn the crank on anti-speeders, so put down the pitchfork buddy.

First of all, the speed cameras at lights are set at 27 over the limit (or so I heard)... so you deserve a ticket for that.

Secondly, holy hell that is BS getting the second ticket.

That is part of the problem. On the northbound side the last speed limit sign is up by 20th ave. Then no signs as the road widens. I think it is a definite speed trap setup.

I still never remember what the speed limit. But when in doubt I stick in the right hand lane and do 50.
