Well come on hold the train up.
If the soldier did abandon post and left he doesn't deserve to live. If you were in the same position I'm sure you would do what ever you possibly could do not to be captured.
But if he was captured unlike what the military is saying then I hope for the best but expect the worse.
If he is that scummy to abandon his comrads and disobey orders than he deserves whatever comes to him.

First and foremost after flipping through whatreallyhappened.com I feel slightly dumber.
Second, I'm interested in seeing what happens with any investigation into the captured soldier, but if he walked away from his post and his duties and got captured to damn bad for him. Third of all, in a manner of days, this kid broke down and and basically became a propaganda piece for the Taliban.
Should he be killed, I hope not, I hope that if the American's have the opportunity they can snatch this kid up and he can face a court marshal.
First and foremost as a soldier you don't abandon your post ever, you don't wander off into enemy territory alone ever, if your captured you resist as long as you can, and you make your captors life difficult.
But like I said, I'm interested in seeing the truth come out about this kid.

I would say it's remotely close to (i.e. word for word the same as) the title of the article he posted.
The board has been all over this poster for a few days now because they didn't like him deleting a post, and it's getting a bit ridiculous. I am fairly sure if someone else posted this exact story and used the article headline as the thread title they wouldn't be questioned on it. Time for everyone to get over it and let the guy be a member of the community now.

I don't give a flying _ if he deleted a previous post, it has no relevance to this. I'm not attacking the poster... but if one is just reposting stuff, especially something so generalizing, it seems to be in order to start something. Like to grab attention. You couldn't be further than the truth tanguay'sstillgood.
Again, I have nothing against the poster, but I do have something against generalized drivel that is a stretch on the truth. As the starter of a new thread, the onus then falls on him/her. The excuse of "Don't look at me, I just reposted the article, so I have no comment" doesn't really slide.

Thanks tanguay but it's all good. CP likes to jump on newb posters but it's ok it's all a learning process. I really dont focus my attention on posters like Blackarcher101 because after reading most of Blackarcher's posts in my short time here he or she seems like a puppet.

Well thanks for explaining what a forum is for then criticizing me for starting discussion? I dont have to explain the thread if you are interested you can either watch the video or read the article.
Did i say anywhere in my post that i agreed with what the article said?
And who are you to say what slides or not? If you dont like my posts or threads put me in your ignore list.
