You can buy toilet paper at most grocery stores, and I hear you can steal cans from blue bins all over town. Sounds like you're set if you can just find some string to tie those cans to the car.

Try Reid's on 17th. They have decorations for every occasion.

For my friend's wedding I found pompoms.ca. Lots of colors to choose from.

I didn't order anything through their website, but went to their warehouse and picked up the pompoms myself: #7, 7139-40 Street SE

It cost $4 / package and each package had 25 pom poms. A roll of tape that doesn't damage the car paint job cost $8. You have to fluff out the pom poms yourself so factor that in (its not difficult; its just if you leave it for last minute you will be crunched for time).

Other thing I bought was Crayola Window Markers for the car windows from Staples for ~$5 for a package of 6 colors. Then get someone creative to draw/write messages on the windows. The marker wipes off the windows with wet paper towl.

Whatever happened to making the decorations. That used to be a good party ... get a group of people together a week or two before the weeding, buy a couple flats of beer and get goofy.

Thanks guys, I just went homemade with some red tissue paper. Looks kinda like crap, but as if that's not the point. My heart drawing is awesome.

that store kinda reminds me of my auntie's house, so full of crap and junk that its hard to find your way out once you're in...

Also at the FanAttic they sell felt pens for writing on car windows. They work well, and also clea up pretty easy with Windex or at a car wash.
