August or September hockey tournaments

Anyone know of any good adult hockey tournaments in Aug/Sept that are within driving distance of Calgary? Our team is looking at doing a windup on the summer season, and we're thinking of renting a bus, and driving out for a tourney.

I'm hunting around the net and all I can find is tourneys in April.......

my team is going to salmon arm on august 21-23 for a summer tourney. no carded players or players under 20. it's our first year, so we will judge success by not getting our arse handed to us.

One of my hockey teams is thinking of doing this too, and I found the perfect website. It had a bunch of August tournies in BC interior. All it had was the weekend, name of tournament, and phone numbers.

I don't know about August/September, but these guys put on a good tourney in Kelowna & Banff in April.

They also do the Vega's ones...

to be quite honest, i don't know. i did not organize this tourney for us. it should be fun though, we all decided to camp instead of hotel.

I passed the Salmon Arm idea to a few guys on my team, we're all in except for one, who isn't allowed to drink unsupervised with one of the other guys on our team. Kids these days.

This tourney has potential.

better hurry and look for accomodations if you can get in the tourney. part of why we are camping is because of lack of other options...also because we're nuts and want to live in the woods for a weekend.

Canlan hockey has most decent tournies listed on their site. Just google them.

On another note, does anyone want to get a team together for a hockey tournie in Vegas on nov 12-15. Puckers? anyone?
