Hey everyone, thanks for your comments when I posted his new single. Good things have been happening since then, his single is beening played on Z99 in Regina, 101.3 in Bonneyville and last weekend it was played in Edmonton on the 91.7 the bounce and now tonight he'll be opening for Akon!
here's release on the Bounce in Edmonton, Check it out!
Not at all, as I've said, I would rather start with LA over any of the other WC playoff teams. Bunch of underachievers who look good on paper but don't even deserve to be in the playoffs.
Awesome! I've actually heard that song before on the Bounce, its catchy! I remember it because afterwards the DJ said he was from Calgary.
PS- Get your bro to break Akon's voice modulator. That guy singlehandedly ruined hip hop for me by creating a generation of voice-modulation tracks, that's all anyone uses now. I hate it.

People were doing it long before Akon decided to do it. If anyone is to blame it is Roger Troutman who brought it to the west coast hip-hop when he did California Love with Tupac.

Ya that's true. It didn't really catch on then though. I'm not a huge music guy so I couldn't break down when it initially happened or who's to blame. I just noticed that it seemed to really start getting mainstream in '07 sometime, and Akon was the first guy I noticed using it, which is why he catches most of my flak for it.
Two other non-hip hop people you could blame is Sher and Madonna, who both used it in hit singles in the late '90's. I remember Sher saying she used it because she couldn't hit the high note.
