I was going to post the Ford Flex; ugliest car in the last 3 years or so. The BMW and Audi wagons posted are ugly too. What a waste of great engines.

No way. Both of those cars are awesome, and can they ever fly. They're an unreal vehicle, one I'd most definitely love to have!

I wasn't a huge fan of the original Insight either, but now I'm an owner and 80 mpg has helped it grow on me a lot. I find it pretty interesting that really aerodynamic cars are drastically different looking...makes you wonder why most of the cars are so anti-aerodynamic.

To each their own I guess. The audi is ok, but the BMW is hideous. Their normal, actually nice looking car counterparts can fly too, so why buy the fugly version?
Embarrassment to the brand IMO, especially sticking an "M" on that.

This one needs to be added. Even though the outgoing Mazda 3 is owned by everyone and their mother, it had good styling and was aesthetically balanced.
The new model, not so much...
Kind of reminds me of this guy:

The M designates it as a sports car (the German word for Motorsport, I think). Those things both have V10s so they should count. They could blow the doors off a lot of other "sports cars" out there, I'm sure.
They aren't my favourites either, and I'm sure they have piss-poor -> non-existent sales, but they are cool just because they are so ridiculous. I mean who needs a station wagon that can go that fast? It's like someone at BMW (or Audi, or Mercedes with the E63 wagon) is just fooling around when they put these cars out.
"Hey Dieter, how many people do you think we can convince to buy a station wagon that'll go 175 miles an hour?"

Pretty much every Mazda these days is ugly, since they all have the same front. Don't like the new Toyota grille either, and the Ford Fusion, Focus, Edge and Flex grilles look like something you'd shave with. But yeah, pretty sad what they did to the Mazda 3.

The New Mazda 3 would look good in a dark color, anything other than that, it looks pretty bad. They did hire a new designer though, sooo maybe changes to front bumper/grille?
I don't like the lines on the new Mazda 6 (starting from 2009). Also, the newer generation Civic I absolutely dislike...

THe Bavarian's have quite a tradition of making phenomenal, yet ugly, wagons.
Rumor has it that I was conceived in the back of one of these.

I saw lots of these when I lived in the midwest USA in the mid-nineties.
And that one looks better than most.

The new Mazdas look like pokemons or something. My fiance really likes them, IMO they took a stupid step back with that ridiculously large "smile" grill. They were sharp looking cars before. Ahead of their time IMO. A little femmy... but not bad.

^ The TL looks like a transformer.
The new 3 has some of the worst taillights to be ever put on a car.

If Hondas gonna pump out cars like that^ and the new TL, the North American car market will be back in no time.
