I think Ronnie is playing it very stupid, the guy who plays both sides never wins. Maybe his nominations solidify him being in an alliance with the athletes and maybe they will have his back but if his plan of back dooring Russel goes through he will have 2 sides hating him.

You forgot about Jun. She and Allison played both sides during their season and ended up together at the end.
I think the dumbest part of backdooring Russell is that it removes the biggest target in the house. He's better off getting rid of someone who isn't as big a target.

Dan pretty effectively played both sides in BB10. He was the swing vote almost every single time.

True but if I remember correctly they didnt start playing both sides until at least week 6-7. Playing both sides in week 2 is very dumb, both sides now have 5-6 people with an excuse to nominate Ronnie.

I don't know if playing both sides in week 2 is necessarily dumb. But winning HOH while you're playing both sides is absolutely stupid. It's even worse when you're clearly not a physical threat at competitions.

To be honest, I dont think hes a mental threat ethier. Maybe in question competitions hes a threat but in terms of talking to people in the house and making deals I think hes awful. He brags about being a persuasive speech champion but whenever he lies he looks SO awkward and its very obvious hes lying.

I agree, I think Ronnie is going about this really stupidly. If his plan is ultimately to backdoor Russell, I don't know how he is going to collect enough votes to do so.
Hypothetically, if someone favourable to this plan wins the veto, and Ronnie puts up Russell to replace, say, Jeff:
Casey, Jeff, Jordan, Michelle vote to evict Russell (4)
but
Jessie, Natalie, Lydia, Kevin, Chima vote to evict Laura (5)
So he would have to flip one of Lydia, Kevin, Chima which I think would be borderline impossible. Lydia and Kevin are joined at the hip and have their whole 'women scorned' thing going on in the post-Braden backlash... I highly doubt they'd join sides with Jeff/Jordan whom they (crazily) heaped blame for Braden's outburst on.
Then you have Chima who's pissed at Michelle for voting to evict her last week, and who seems to think she's 'in' with the atheletes, and that they aren't just using her.
So basically, I think Ronnie is either A) completely idiotic, B) full of crap, or C) both.
EDIT: the only possible way I could see him being able to get a vote would be to flip either Lydia or Natalie, because if I am not mistaken, (might be a bit of a spoiler, but it has nothing to do with the veto or noms or anything like that): there is a bit of competition between those two for Jessie's affections. So maybe he could play off of that, but I just don't see it.

I'm always happy when those type of players go up. They are both little worms and it's going to be great to see one go.

I sort of wish there was another thread where you guys could discuss spoilers without having to post white text here. I am trying to stay away from spoilers this year, and it makes the thread a little disjointed to read it by skipping a lot of posts. I'm not slamming anyone for doing so here, just making an observation.

Ronnie is an idiot. He's playing both sides way to early, and goddammit if i ever see him in anything less than a tshirt and shorts ever again, i may just boycott.
Dammit BB! Do you have cataracts? Or are you TRYING to force the rest of the world to go blind!

They must've only got about 15 applicants for the season.
