You have to remember this is the same strain that killed over 50 million people in 1918, so I think it warrented some coverage.

The vaccinations are coming. I have read many articles mentioning governments of many countries getting finance approval for future swine flu vaccination programs.

So you think SARS, avian/bird flu and all the rest just happened?

The media always just blames some asian country for the source of these viruses with very little detail to support the claim.

And btw, swine flu is not "the same strain that killed 50 million people in 1918".............or you would think millions would be dead from swine flu by now.

Yes! It does just happen when a virus or bacteria manages to make a cross-species jump to humans who have no natural immunity. Where do you think disease comes from!?

As for the swine flu, it's not identically the same, but apparently it shows the same virulence and capacity for rapid mutation as the Spanish flu did.

Its a changed variation on the swine flu virus. When you take into account the changes in health, medicine, diet, hygene and imune systems of people now compared to back then of course it hasn't killed millions of people.

But the 1918 virus was still a strain of the same virus, shows the same ability to species jump shows the same level of communicability and shows the same symptoms.

Yes the vaccinations are coming, but its not a cure for the people that have it, but it will hopefully prevent the spread of it, something that they didn't have back in 1918.

And yes, SARS and the Avian Bird flu basically did not just happen, they changed and they jumped and they're pretty good at finding out where the initial areas of infections are, they sometimes struggle with index cases for jumping (as an example with Ebola they've never nailed down the index jump to humanity).

This isn't some evil plot by the drug companies in concert with the governments, the Bilderblig group or what ever it is with financial backing by the luminati with help from the Texas Death Cult and technical assistance by the men in black.

Its a logical progression to try to build a vaccine and get it out there to prevent the mass spread of disease.

If this was a true evil plot, the vaccine would have been out there from the start during the panic in mexico.

The strain is H1N1 both in 1918 and now, though it has AS REPORTED mutated from what it once was....not sure what else you are referring to.

I guess the W.H.O. and the CDC are a bunch of lying liars controlled by the Bilderburgs/Illuminatti/whateveryourfavoriteconspiracygroupis, as well then huh?

As for "new killer bugs" every year...they actually happen more often than that, though not all are dangerous to humans.

Well... we are all going to die and yes, a lot of us die from incidental or opportunistic bacterial or viral infection. Do you know how quickly viruses and bacteria reproduce...? Do you know anything about point mutations and evolution?

As for a good education, I took political philosophy, going into grad school. I work in project management. No connection between the two.

No, if you understood it you would know we aren't all going to die.

Define fast. How many generations? How long is a generation? What's the base mutation rate per generation. Do you know how many mutations there are between you and your parents even?
