The best advice is to be at the game early so that people can have a beer before the first pitch!

24-50 beers depending on your teams habits.
Just ask and you will get 10 different beers. So pick 3 each week. 12 pack of each to start.
$2 or $2.50 a beer.
Good luck!

Which team, Central or SW?
Also, charge for beer? Our weekly "beer bitch" doesn't charge money for beer. We just circulate who brings the suds every game.
My recommendation, for hot days Bud Light Lime, it's more refreshing than water doesn't fill you up and you get to drink more of them because they are 4%.

Being there early is clutch....
Pick something fairly generic that most people will like, Kokanee, Bud ( ), Canadian, whatever....after a while you can switch it up once you know what people want to drink.
Oh...and Cans...very important!
Everyone likes Keiths by the way...I'm not sayin' I'm just sayin'....
I'm saying FKA!! Be early, bring Keiths!!

i am the SW beer person, I volunteered for it. Its not so bad, you look like a hero when you show up just before opening pitch! We have 2.50 beer and I normally bring Kokanee, seems to be pretty generic. But I think I am going to do what I did last week and have the kokanee and then a 12 pack of something to supplement, like last weeks failed Bud light lime experiment.

With my softball teams, we just rotate a person each game, that way no one needs to pay per beer. And the person in charge just buys whatever they want, but always cans.....much easier to carry into the field.

Since your team finally won, was it really a failed experiment? Perhaps you should bring some every week.

Whatever you bring just make sure you bring enough that you don't run out. Maybe keep a reserve pack in the trunk of the car just in case.
Nothing sucks worse than coming out to a ball diamond of hockey rink and you see the beer guy walk in with a cooler you would normally carry your lunch.

edit: dont worry angie, no coolers are going to be anywhere near my cooler. I just don't want the beer store clerk thinking I am gay.

I usually get the sleeman variety packs when it's my turn. I used to get the Big Rock ones, but they've got that jackrabbit stuff in there, and nobody likes it, so I'd be left with a dozen of them at the end of the season.
