Wow.
Calvin Murphy - 14 illegitimate kids by 9 women. You sir are our current champion.
Travis Henry - 9 kids by 9 women. All of this by 28. Impressive. He is on pace to catch Calvin. The fact that he's broke from paying child support may slow him down though.
Ex-San Antonio Spur Willie Anderson - 9 illegitimate kids. If only his field goal percentage had been as high as his impregnation rate.
Evander Holyfield - 9 illegitimate kids. Has more kids than brain cells left.
Jason Caffey - 8 kids by 7 women.
UPDATE - Shawn Kemp - 7 illegitimate kids by 6 women last time. Supposedly up to 11 kids by 9 women now. Gives his nickname of the Reign Man new meaning. Might also explain why he nearly played with an Italian team late in 2008.
Derrick Thomas - 7 illegitimate kids by 5 women. He died at 33. Let's just leave it at that.
UNCONFIRMED - Dominique Wilkins - reportedly played so long in the NBA because, according to a Magic front office employee, he was paying money on 20 paternity suits. Any further confirmation would be awesome.

When Derrick Thomas died there was a frenzy from the 5 mothers of his children. I think they all thought that he had a boat load of money. It was revealed he had very little assets at all.

It seems to go against the one wish that Clark Hunt has expressed to have for his football team. To develop a young franchise QB. That is one thing his father never had in 45 years as the Chiefs owner. Now if Cassel ends up being the second coming of Len Dawson then Pioli will look like a genius. If he ends up looking like Steve Bono?

The heavyweights are mostly garbage players

The middleweights are more juicy

THE MIDDLEWEIGHTS
NEW MEMBER - Scott Skiles -
At least 6 kids, possibly more.
Ray Lewis
- 6 kids by 4 women.
Marshall Faulk - 6 kids by 3 women. Which is probably why he considered coming out of retirement.
Larry Johnson (basketball) - 5 kids by 4 women. 3 are illegitimate.
Charles Rogers - Uber-NFL Draft bust reportedly has 5 illegitimate kids...and no paycheck. Definitely the makings of a solid family.
Vlad Guerrero - 4 kids by 4 women.
Oscar De La Hoya - 4 kids (courtesy of Fark)
Santonio Holmes - 3 illegitimate kids by two women, before leaving college.
Former Celtic Greg Minor - 3 illegitimate kids.
Ricky Williams - 3 illegitimate kids. Maybe that's why he smokes so much weed.
Priest Holmes - 3 illegitimate kids. You best keep running Priest.
Chad Johnson -Has 3 illegitimate kids.
Mike Bibby - apparently had two before leaving 'Zona.

I don't want to appear racist but I have to ask why are these athletes of African decent having so many illegitimate children with numerous woman? Is it something that is prevalent in the African American community?

Favre to decide on future by start of training camp.

Quote:
The former Packers and Jets quarterback said surgery to repair a biceps tendon in his throwing arm was successful and that he has enough velocity to return to the NFL. He's just not sure whether that means he'll be able to compete for an entire season.
"I felt like going to New York last year that I still had it," Favre said. "I didn't know my arm was hurt at the time. So that's what I try to get across to people. I had that fixed, the surgery to fix that. So I'm trying to make sure that if I go back that that part is completely resolved."

By the way, I see Travis Henry, he of the 9 kids by 9 women, just got handed a three year prison sentence. Do you have to pay child support while incarcerated in a federal lockup?

If he has any money, they will be using it to pay his support...no question. I don't think he has any though.

Remember, it always takes 2 to tango so the women here are equally at fault since its pretty easy to say - no condom, no entry. We've all been there

Preliminary sketches of the new 49ers stadium proposed for Santa Clara (the deal agreed upon with the city council still needs to go to a public vote, scheduled for this fall).

I can't believe they may be moving to Santa Clara. The new ownership group and the city need to reach an agreement to build a new stadium where old Candlestick is.

They've been trying for years. It seems the issue is infrastructure around Candlestick. It is a tough enough sell to get a new stadium, let alone the cost of new highways and interchanges to bring them up to spec.

There have been rumours of a few other locations, but land cleanup was huge.

I think the only way this doesn't happen now is if the Santa Clara voters vote it down. The SF would have a chance to get back in the game.

Kellen Winslow is generally a ######, but I'm not sure I'd wish this on anyone

Quote:
Winslow told ESPN's Seth Wickersham that he had to have fluid drained from his testicles to play in an Oct. 19 game at Washington…

Winslow told Wickersham that he woke up one October morning sore in the groin area, but figured the problem would go away. Winslow said by the next morning "my testicles were enlarged, to the point where it hurt to walk."…

Wickersham said Winslow passed it on to his wife Janelle. She was also hospitalized and the couple worried about it affecting their ability to have children.

Describing Winslow's treatment, Wickersham quoted Winslow as saying, "They had to drain it. They had a scalpel. They cut into it. I had to clean it every day with a Q-Tip, for two and a half weeks. It was the most painful thing I've ever been through.

Is this from the staph infection he got at the Browns medical facility? He's lucky he didn't die.
