American Gigilo - Richard Gere. Some great songs though. Actually, a lot of Richard Gere movies might qualify.

Rocky Horror just because, well, its a gay movie!!

Say anything with John Cusack would rank up there.

The notebook, the g/f made me sit through that dreck

The Titanic with its only redeemin guality being Leonardo going down with the ship.

The rocky horror picture show, just because its a huge gay icon movie.

WaterWorld, so bad that it has to be included, yeah sure it had action, but it was just gay.
See I wouldn't even put Say Anything anywhere near this list because if anyone (which is everyone) was ever 18 years old, they can identify with that movie. So much funny in that movie.

Lloyd: "If you guys know so much about girls, why are you sitting here at the Gas 'n' Sip on a Saturday night without a girl in sight?"

Long silence

Three losers: "Choice man! Concious choice!"

Heh.. That movie has been playing on TBS for the last few months. My g/f watches it every time. I'm getting accustomed to it. Same with You've Got Mail. I can handle both those movies.
I can't handle Sleepless In Seattle though.

I don't know if it's as gay to like chick flicks being a chick, but the one that I love despite it's high cheese factor is Bring It On.

Also, not a chick flick, but I love Resident Evil. It's just a good, mindless movie.

Dude, Grant... TOTALLY agree. That part where he's climbing the fence and keeps saying "whoopsie daisies"!

Well I should start by saying this topic came to mind because mine was on TV the other day and I couldn't help but watch it. Afterwards I found myself saying "Why? Why do I love that cheesey, smarmy chick-flick of a movie?"

I can't explain it, nor justify it, I just love it for some unknown reason.

The movie: Serendipity

There. I said it. Out loud. Now I must go cut down trees with a really big chainsaw and eat a raw steak.
No man should have to apologize for loving a movie with Kate Beckinsale in it, good God! I can watch Van Helsing on a loop because of that woman. (I'm a fan of Serendipity too.) Plus, John Cusack is awesome.

I liked The Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConnaughey. In fact, I liked it A LOT.

I'll also add in Grosse Pointe Blank, another Cusack film (all Cusack actually...written, directed, acted) that, while very funny, is pretty much about the reignition of the love affair with Minnie Driver's character.....which I fell for. Great movie. And holy cow, is Dan Aykroyd hilarious in that.

I'm not afraid to admit it, The Notebook made me cry. :P

Awwwwww. You should read the book then. That will have you weeping in the fetal position!

I am not really one for chick flicks, but I really liked The Cutting Edge and Riding in Cars with Boys, just cause that one isn't typical perfect happy ending type of chick flick. I think those flicks would be classified as "gay"

Ya but you cried for the same reason I did. Because you'll never get those two hours of your life back....

Well if you get TBS in Kansas and you hurry up you can catch it right now!!

Although considering it is TBS I am sure it will be on about 400 times this week so you have a few more chances to catch it.
