Reading through this thread gave me big time flashbacks to the final scene in Billy Madison.

Principal: Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Billy Madison: Okay, a simple "wrong" would've done just fine.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

The usage of the Billy Madison quote on CP is a registered trademark of flip. It shall not be used in any scenario that I haven't deemed necessary.

This time it is actually ok, but next time ask for permission. The usage of that Billy Madison quote to point out stupidity has been my thing now for at least 3-6 months. (I checked and the first time I referenced it was about a year ago, first time I posted it was in February)

That's a good question. Most people would not know because he isn't that relevant.

Why don't you think Michael Jackson is relevant?

The fact that you call Johny Cash a "garbage artist" makes any other music related post by you basically irrelevant.

People who don't even like country music know the scope of influence that Johnny Cash had on other musicians, and rock & roll in general.

Quote:
"To millions of fans, Johnny Cash is “the Man in Black,” a country music legend who sings in an authoritative baritone about the travails of working men and the downtrodden in this country. Lesser known is the fact that Johnny Cash was present at the birth of rock and roll by virtue of being one of the earliest signees to Sam Phillips’ Sun Records back in 1955. Cash was part of an elite club of rock and roll pioneers at Sun that included Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. The four were collectively referred to as “the Million Dollar Quartet” after an impromptu gathering and jam session at the Sun recording studio on December 4, 1956.

NHL009, I demand that you continue with the inflamatory posts. Not only are they entertaining but they will eventually end with...(wait maybe I shouldn't say).

This thread has a long way to go to become a classic so you'd better step it up.

Can you afford public humiliation? You are paying for it right now, whether you know it or not.

He's in there, but I bet 5 out of 100 people know him. I can't believe you took the time to go look it all up. It shows how big MJ was.

Thank you for returning, my day is once again filled with joyous laughter.

Either you're just trolling for fun to get responses, which is great cause it's hilarious, or you're really this out to lunch. Either way, please continue.
