No pretty sure I didn't miss any point *you* made...
lets pretend Prince is a massive drug addict... ... ... hmmm you still dont have a point, except possibly:
A) Artists are drug addicts.
and
B) I Like Micheal Jackson.
...
good thread.

O.K. How are my arguments not logical? I just think peoples clouded judgments (not yours specifically), ruin any debate in this because Michale jacksons name is attached to it.

If your intention was simply to state that Michael Jackson was better than Johnny Cash, why did you go off on a long speel about Cash being a drug addict? Instead of comparing their music, and their respective accomplisments, you said that Cash was stupid for being a drug addict, clearly ignoring that Jackson was too.
You clearly have no idea how to properly back up an argument you are trying to make... an argument that was silly to begin with.

In my first post, I asked what;s wrong with famous people. It was just a coincidence that I chose him. I heard a song of his when I made the post.
I have said BOTH were dumb.

Indeed.
Though I'm not sure there could be much more of a conversation with how influential was Johnny Cash to todays music that didn't simply begin and end with "Very influential...far more influential than most people realize"
I'm so glad that the few years prior to his death the listeners of more mainstream music began to discover exactly what Johnny Cash meant to Country and Rock music thanks to Rick Rubin, the Chili Peppers, U2 etc etc etc. A true legend.

Johnny Cash did mean a lot overall.
All I;m saying is that a guy like Micheal Jackson could pretty much go to any country, village, etc, and everybody would embrace him and recognize him. I can't think of an entertainer who can do that.

At least MJ hasn't been accused of touching anyone in the last two weeks! Of course he'd have a good alibi this time!

Lighten up and have some fun, or does ResAlien qualify as a 'weirdo' by your stringent standards?

Even when I went to his Ranch, a lot of rooms were closed and we weren't allowed to seem them. I'm thinking it was because of drugs now. Somebody just picked you up from the airport and you were driven to the ranch.
It sounds fake, but like Larry King said, you didn't get a weird feeling when you went there. It was pretty surreal. He has about 80% of it that's not even developed.

Embrace him? The guy was a creep who liked to hang out with boys.
How many grown adults do you know of who would prefer hanging out with boys as opposed to adults?

Awhile back, I read "Redemption Song," sort of the definitive biography of Joe Strummer, lead singer for The Clash. Goddam, that guy did copious amounts of drugs up until the day he died.
But he was still so much cooler than Michael Jackson. Might have been because one of his heroes was the great Johnny Cash. Now how do I import a photo... Anyone?
