I get annoyed at people who complain I try the same play over and over again. It's true I have a certain way of setting up my offense, but that's because it is effective and leads to scoring chances. They never seem to notice that they can't stop me scoring the "same way" every time.

Penalties are kind of annoying due to the cross checking and elbowing penalties being arbitrarily called. But I solved that by just not hitting anymore unless I'm standing someone up at the blue line. Other penalties like tripping and slashing are mostly and timing and positioning thing, get proper positioning and timing and you will not take many penalties.

I like the replays because the game is quite nice looking. But they should have a slider to change the frequency of them.

I am hoping that for the physical play of the new game, that they make taking penalties worthwhile.

I don't mind taking an elbowing penalty if it means the other guy is that much more intimidated or hurt, but, it should also be costly.

Having it be arbitrary takes a huge aspect of the game away for me. I love to hit, but I have been forced to play like brian campbell to be successful. It is lame.

Oh man, TOTALLY. Do you mean when you pass it to him and the player completely freezes up and just stands there while the puck goes by him, and then like 2-3 seconds later you seem him finally wind up for the shot?(which by then, the other team already has possession of the puck and is clearing their zone) That s*** happens to me ALL the time, it drives me crazy! Iginla for me is the worst at that, he does it constantly. Funny how that never happens to the computer...

Another thing i hate is when u face a opponent who only plays in net and lets the computer play his offense? like wtf if i wanted to face a computer i wouldnt be online.

And the computer is scary good. If they get a good shot it's usually a goal.
