I think the rachet set was in the safe.
You can see stuff with the light just by turning it on. For example, hit the ? beside the cube to show the cube, and then click on the black light.
You'll also find a secret key in the wall with the black light.

I'm an idiot too! If you have those three metal buttons (they are batteries, I thought they were magnets), put them in the white laser pointer!

Click on it. You just need to make sure it's got some batteries first. Pull those out of the bolt holes.
