I recently discovered AOL Radio, where you can basically pick a genre of music to listen too, and with limited commericals, they play all kinds of different music.
You can even fast-foward a few songs at a time.
Pretty cool.
And I found the old country station.

Waylon, Jamey Johnson, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Clint Blank, Clay Walker, Brad Paisley....its a pretty broad range, but all of them still use the steel guitar.
Country isn't country if they don't use the steel guitar.
Thanks, Azure! Windows Media Player had something like this around 2004-2005, but they discontinued it. I've been looking for something like this again. I used to listen to it at work because the radio sucked.

if you like old country, check out the AM dial... 1060. Furthermore, if you like a new flair to old country....Tim Hus. He plays Bottlescrew Bills saturday night the 12 of joo-lie. The rest is up to you
I don't care what genre you are in, Metal, Country, Pop...whatever. Virtually all new music is soulless garbage. Music is truly one of the few things technology destroyed. There are bar bands out there that would completely embarrass 95% of new acts, but unfortunately, image and electronically enhanced performers dominate the music scene now.

This is an idiotic opinion.

Reason: name calling would be hypocritical.
