So did anyone catch the end of the Bachelorette last night
Wife is watching the show since it's a Canadian girl on it this year. I admit that I've caught a few scenes since our T.V. is in the living room just off the kitchen and like a car accident I can't help but look occasionally. Someone else's wife or g/f has to be watching the show too.
Anyways one guy is a country musician and he's the bad boy guy that girls seem to love and she bought the act hook line and sinker. One of the other guys told her weeks ago, watch out for one guy he's already got a girl. Creates drama, but not much happens. Last week some other guy who got booted comes back and says buddy here has a girl friend. They had some get together where he denied it not much happens again.
Well last night he finally can't cover his tracks anymore and gets outed. But the best part is at the end of the show where he rants about all the broads he'll nail and how he's a killer actor for lasting as long as he did. Than he starts cutting down the other guys. I have to say I laughed pretty hard when I saw that. Thing is... it probably will land him more girls eventually. Have to tip my hand to guys who can act that way and pull it off.

Unfortunately, I am exposed to this show through my girlfriend. It's complete garbage... but anyway...
The girl on the show is just as shallow as that guy. She sent perfectly nice guys packing and let the ass stay even though he has continually insulted her and even made her cry. She obviously was keeping him around for superficial reasons, so she deserves what she got... in my opinion of course.

The Bachelorette was watching Wes get the boot last night at Crush in Calgary with 30 friends, as per this Herald story today:

She's been Stampeding. Time to make your move guys.

The show is a trainwreck. I avoided it for a long time, but a lot of my girlfriends watch and its become something for us to all watch together. To start off, to even consider a show like this, it seems like there's something a little off with you to begin with. To expect this many people to turn up with no ulterior motives is a bit naive. But to keep Wes around as long as she did, after so many obvious signs that he wasn't there for her, and to have two different people tell you about one of them having a girlfriend, and then one of them willing to confront Wes in front of her. Wow, is she ever gullible.
I think participants on this show all get what they deserve. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a spouse, but I find it hard to believe the real world can match up to this fast forward, made for TV fairytale that thrusts two people together.
It was funny how Wes thought it was a good idea to spend the night with her and she finally says "I think we should skip it." Denied.

The first Joe Schmo was an accidental classic in reality TV. There may never be another like it.
I was checking out The Bachelorette to see what they were showing of Canada but found it grating. If that ain't a chick show, I don't know what is.
Still, that Jillian is one cute little spitfire compared to the deadbeats courting her. She's way to good for them!!

Yeah, really anyone can think they're having a great time when they get to live in a mansion, not have to go to work, go on dates that 95% of the real world could never pull off. So to go on the show expect to get engaged and be knocked up within a year by your husband. Not what I'd call a reasonable expectation.

That's what I thought (but more she's cute than wow/hot) and probably why I never went on a second date... and she talked non-stop at an unbelievable pace.

I agree. My wife watches it so I am forced to watch it every once in a while.
Sometimes she looks smokin hot and then other angles not so good. It's weird.....
Interesting she was at Crush last night. I go there all the time and am friends with the owner. I never knew he was friends with her. He's got a bunch of pictures of them together on his Facebook page. Crazy stuff....
I guess she loves the Stampede!

I love how almost everyone has to clarify that the only reason they watch the show is because of their significant other before talking about the subject. By the way, the only reason I clicked on this thread is because my wife asked me to.

Went out with once, talked on the phone a bit after... never could be bothered to put too much effort into. This was probably 7/8 years ago. A mutual friend tried to set it up, I think she worked at Melrose at the time. Girlfriend watches the bachelor so I caught a bit of it in the winter and did a double take when I saw Jillian, She watches the current one every week, so I see bits of it.
Really nice girl. Actually disappointed to see her on that show, as I think it's trashy and... Ugh... I don't know, just seems wrong.

I admit to watching one of the Real Housewives shows for a few minutes at various times. Think it was the OC one. Made me wonder what men look for in women...if that's it no wonder I'm single. Yewwwww.....

Those women are crazy!!!!! Talk about another trainwreck show. I should be punished for all the trash TV I watch.
Judging by the unpleasant sounds and comments my husband makes when that show is on, its clear that botox'd up 40 year olds dressing like 17 year olds is NOT what most men are looking for in a woman.
