Felt bad for Roddick. He played his best tennis ever and still couldn't win.

Overall one of the best matches I have ever watched. The mental strength of both players was amazing. Roddick have the intemse pressure of having to win all those games in the 5th set to stay in the match. Then there's all the aces by Federer.

Will go done as one of the greatest matches in Wimbledon history.

He probably wasn't pissed at Roger, he was probably trying to yell at a ball boy or linesmen or something. His MO is to blame everyone but himself, so lets see if he sucks it up this time or not.
I think this time he was pissed at Roger, but I definitely hear you on his habit of blaming people. I only got to see the 5th set and just during that time I can remember a good 4-5 instances of him glaring at someone else or muttering about something.

I often blame my sporting failures on the animated men on my TV that are so fataing stupid I want to kill them, so I can relate.

That and I read an article about him playing a set against a reporter with a frying pan instead of a racket. He won easily.
Haha my cousin sat 2 rows behind and met Mandy Moore once at the Rogers Cup :P

I've heard alot of good stories about Roddick. Playing with a frying pan is one, alot of charity work is another. He never ever says no to Davis Cup while Federer hardly ever plays. Earlier this year he withdrew from Dubai because they wouldn't let Israeli players play.

I don't think Federer meant any harm in his comments. He was trying to tell Roddick to keep his head up but Federer doesn't really have that many examples of "I know how it feels buddy" since he always wins! I also have always gotten the sense that Federer likes and respects Roddick (compared to Murray and Djokovic, who I don't think Roger can stand)

Looks like he hurt his hip in the marathon and is pulling out of Davis Cup action:

He'll be replaced by Mardy Fish when they play Croatia.

He also plays doubles with James Blake (they were beaten by Nestor/Zimonjic [sp?]) in the semifinals at Wimbledon.
