Guess we shouldn't have traded Locke and troutman till we had the injury reports.
Do you need Mrs B all day or can she come over and help build my own personal walk of shame path in the back yard?

I'm sure she'd love to help you, but you have to help her build the rally killer wall at the end of it

The post was intentionally unclear. I did not tell a lie, yet you could read the post and think we won!
First game we sadly let them have a couple of those big innings. Okay maybe 3 or 4 big innings. We went into the seventh down 27-11. Open inning for us though. I led off the inning, batted a sceond time (homer), then was on deck waiting to bat a third time in the inning when it came to an end. Bases loaded no less.
So we scored 14 runs in that rally to fall short 27-25.
Second game was against the jerks who ike to only play the 3 inninngs if they get up. Sadly, we let them score 15 runs or whatever in the first 3-4 innings, I think we only had 2 then. Actually I think it was 20- 6 or something, in the middle of an at bat and thier captain came out to tell the ump the game was over they win by mercy. Clown. At least finish the inning. I dislike him.
I think obs and I made enough comments to shame a few of his teammates into convincing him to play a couple more innings for fun. I think we even started to get some runs then too. No idea on the final score, unofficial score of course.

I never did find that. Luckily the catcher from the other team brought it down when you were up to bat a little later!!!

Torn ligaments and you are out for a week or so? I really hope that is the case (that its only a week or so and not that you have torn ligaments). I pulled my hamstring good and didn't want to run the week after!

I will put rallykiller on the back of my jersey for next week....course you won't be able to read it, as I will be wearing Angie's sweater coat/cloak thing.

Forgot to mention that we had them stopped in one inning but the ump did not see SportsJunky make a terrific diving catch. Called it a triple instead of an out, and they proceeded to later in the inning score a few they should not have. Happens though.
Also he (the ump) curiously called me out when I hit a home run...Of course I hit the home run over the fence on diamond 9, and we played on 10.

14 runs in the last inning is freakin' awesome guys and gals! Might not have won but wow, what a comeback! Well done!
Screwy schedule this year. We play one team three times, but you guys only once. WDF? I enjoyed our tete-a-tete two weekends ago. Tough call on Sports at second. Damn close either way for sure but being involved in the play I won't make a judgement as I was mobile (or as mobile as I can get) at the time. But I did get you out on the play!
Edit, oh, and we beat "Good Times" for the first time ever. 24-17 or something like that. Yeah, that MLB expatriate team...

Running around the outside of the diamonds collecting our home run balls doesn't count my friend!
But thanks for the effort.

Walk of shame indeed, Aeneas.
What was your batting record last night? 2 for 9?
You've got a long way to catch up to Sahel Kazemi, who went 5/5 on Saturday.
(too soon?)

Yikes. Terrible time for injuries. Where will you find a replacement to cover for the next two Sundays?

No need for replacements just means no one has to sit out
