For the LADIES
My Fiancée and I moved to Chaparral on Monday and we (more specifically she, but getting an answer will make her happier and therefore me happier in the process because I don’t have to deal with an unhappy fiancée…) need to find her a new place to get her nails done.
She has gel nails, whatever that means. If anyone has any recommendations of a place near Chaparral (Sundance, Midnapore, Somerset, Bridlewood, Shawnessey, Millrise, ect.) that does gel nails well can you let me know pretty please. With a cherry on top.
For the people who will link the following (I know I would) the Mrs is looking for a personal reference.

Sorry...being a girl who would rather drink beer and watch hockey rather than get her nails done, I can't help you. I'm not sure if any of the ladies here can help.
Maybe some of the guys that live down there can ask their wives?
Good luck!

LOL at your tags.
Um... yeah. I don't know why I'm stopping in here really. You already know I'm on the same wave-length as Puxlut.
Only thing I can offer is that I went to a place to get mine done for our wedding - located on Fairmont Drive and Southland next to the RBC. They did a good job I thought, but I basically just tore them off after the wedding (which isn't actually a fun thing to do).
Also, I await my invite to the new chez Boblobla.

I am not a girly type chick in general, but this is one thing that I do that is girly. I like my nails looking nice and trimmed. It makes me feel good. I do them myself though. So that, coupled with the fact that I live in Ontario, means I am also of no use in this thread.

I can't tell you where she can go, I can do gel nails, but I don't think she wants to commute to Pittsburgh to get them done--but if she has a clue what products they use (OPI, SolarNails, etc), you may be able to go on said company's website and look up salons in the area that use the same system.
BTW if anyone is at all curious, "gel" nails refer to artificial nails that aren't acrylic, they're a UV-cured gel instead--they don't smell disgusting, they're stronger--but they cannot be soaked off with acetone the way acrylic nails can.

Okay, OPI's website doesn't list salons for Canada: but she can find out via their 800 number.

I'm sorry. From the title of the thread, I thought you were talking specifically to the ladies of the board. Forgive the baby brain... hopefully it will disappear in the next 28 days.
