Really you're going to unthaw some chicken? So you're going to take refrigerated chicken and freeze it? That isn't going to make eating dinner any easier!
Also anyone who has ever used the word irregardless is a moron. I actually corrected my (former) boss on that once and he looked really pissed. I just couldn't respect a 50 year old man who was in a position of pretty high authority who couldn't speak english properly.

It's hard to effect a positive result when you don't know the effect of your actions or who those actions might affect.

Remuneration. Renumeration.
One is my pay. The other has something to do with getting re-registered for an election, I assume.
Oh, and disorientated. Just ease up on the syllables.

Could of, should of.
Drives me nuts.
But, yeah, this is all stuff that really should be left unsaid on the internet. It's one of the few ways we get to justifiably judge people in this anonymous world.

When trying to roast someone, try to get the word 'genius' right. As previously mentioned, the combo platter with 'your' instead of 'you are/you're' makes me want to decapitate myself.
I weep for humanity when I read someone write something sarcastic such as 'Your a real genious.'
Unless that is an attempt at triple-reversal irony, it's just complete lunacy.

Do we really need contractions? Is it not (almost wrote isn't it) the case that we are legitimizing people's lazy speach patterns?

speaking of that, i do not use contractions when i type (unless i am quoting or making a point like post above).
why? Data from ST:TNG did not use them, and i thought it was a good idea. i started to not use them in my speech and also in my writing. i use them now when i speak, but still refuse to use contractions in my writing. i will even re word a sentence in order to avoid the use of contractions.
also, at the time, i was in school. not using contractions increases your word count when writing papers.
