Power 107....Rhodes and Frazier...#1 morning Show in Calgary. I left. It flopped withn 3 months of my departure. Fuel 90.3...we tried. Management changed format. So where are the 3 stations? You should get your story straight before dissing someone on a forum. Seriously.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Power 107 the #1 morning show of it's day before you showed up as well (In other words Roger already had the audience)? Anyways bottom line, why legitimize a forum like this by actually signing up and duking it out with the unwashed masses. Could you not stoically leave things alone? Now any prospective employers by performing a simple google search can see how petty you are. Congrats!

Weren't you on one of those Rock 97/ Kiss stations too?

Like I said, I never followed you - first station you were on that I liked alot was Fuel. All I knwo is the stations I knew you were on disappeared and so did you. Cause or effect - don't know, don't care. Didn't care for your radio personna and it didn't sound like you and Ross really ever "meshed" on the air. Maybe you were the best of friends, I don't know. You played good music that I enjoyed. But that is my opinion.

Well, assuming you are you, I'll simply answer in public: I don't like your voice. It annoys the hell out of me. Such is life. I know my voice annoys the hell out of others too.

You're still better than Forbes, who's annoying, and Francis, who's a ######.

Except there is no way to "verify" that this is the "real" Frazier.

I hope that any prospective employer would take that into account.

One would hope, however one thing I've learned about this world is that how things 'ought to be' sure differs from the way things are in a lot of cases.

I am one of the unwashed masses Cowboy....I get up in the morning just like you. I was brought in to improve the ratings at Power 107 and we managed to do that. Rock 97 was way after I left.
More than anything I want you to know that Fuel 90.3 was family. We hung out, laughed, cried, fought and got drunk together....sometimes all in the same day.
We are all very saddened about its demise.
We all tried very hard to make things work. I'm not some tuff chick who doesn't give a rats ass about what people say. I am not duking things out...after 20 years in the biz it still a shock when I find people assuming things and then reporting it as fact or opinion.

It may seem petty to you...but it's not you that is being brought up and talked about. If it was, I think you would feel different.
When you are an accountant, or a lawyer or a mechanic you are judged by what you do by the person you do it for. When you are a broadcaster you are judged by who you are by people who feel they know you. It is an honor and a privelage that I get to do what I do.

I will add one thing I did like about you and your show Frazier, you were a key part of the show. Too many stations (*cough*Cjay and X*cough*) seem only to have a female voice because it's expected, and to do the news. Most other stations, it's the male host(s) driving everything, while the females are interchangable.

Oh, and if you think we're being hard on you, search the archives on what we've said about Anders Eriksson, Kevin Lowe, Todd Bertuzzi and Bruce Dowbiggin. We're equal opportunity haters.

Frazier, if it makes you feel any better, if it was you and Forbes in a radio cage match, I'd be rooting for you (and probably against the other Frasier, too).

I miss Fuel and I will still wear my Fuel shirt proudly.

For the record, I enjoyed the morning show.

Bleh, listened to the new format while driving around last night, and immediately took it off my auto-programming. It was the one non-public-radio station I had, so now I'm back down to CBC, CKUA, and CJSW.

As far as the morning show goes, it wasn't my cup-o-tea but then I don't like any banter-based radio show, which is about 90% of the morning programs out there. If a DJ wants to talk to me about the music they're playing (see the three stations above, usually) then I don't mind, other than that and useful information (news, traffic, weather), I don't want to hear it.

I never really listened to Fuel. But has anyone else noticed that Q107 has gone down the crapper since they switched the morning crew? I actually liked the three people they originally had, the new girl and guy are pretty bad in my opinion. Not only are their voices bad and their humour poor, they are not great at their job. Lots of umms of uhhhs on the the air, lots of dead air, just bad broadcasting in general. Not only that they've also changed their music for the worse. I rarely listen anymore.
