I can't believe how many CPers are following this show. I've never heard of it till the lives of these two became "real news" (shown on news casts and newspapers). Put me in the group of not caring.

I'm the same way. Never watched the show, didn't know who they were when I started seeing them on magazine covers at the checkout counter. I don't really care about their problems, however callous that might sound.
... but here I am, reading a thread about them and responding in it... weird.

I'm guessing ratings will probably collapse for this show anyways. I think they were shedding viewers like mad since the premier show of this season, heard that on the radio last week.

Ya, what is it with the TV programs that some women watch? I just refer to the TV drivel my wife watches as the "What Not To Wear While Renovating The Back Yard Of Your Real Estate Flip" show. It's on 24/7 too. Geez, what was wrong with Black Adder and Fawlty Towers. And Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Now those were TV programs worth watching. All this cable TV programing crap is, well, crap.

Never forget the good ol'days of TLC, with shows like 'Extreme Machines' and other such awesomeness. Gone forever...
Edit: What exactly do we 'learn' from The Learning Channel now?

That learning doesn't pay the television bills. But midgets do.

I can't believe Survivor is still out there (haven't watched it since the second season).
And whats with all these shows with midgets/dwarfs in them?
I do enjoy some of the home improvement shows though (like Holmes on Homes). Those I learn stuff from.

Bit insulting - I watch neither programmes. Not all women are empty headed and obsessed by gossip and fashion.

I don't know who they are since I can't tell them apart from the other couples who have gotten on tv for no other reason then they have a whole lot of kids. But it takes a real piece of crap parent to put their own selfish needs (i.e. a divorce) before the best interests of their kids. Especially when you've got so many kids.
Sometimes I wish I was a religious person just so that I could take solace in the fact that worthless human beings will one day end up in hell.

Speaking of TLC shows, when did Mythbusters add the "other" crew? I find that their experiments and results are far crappier than Jamie and Adam.
Though it is still interesting. Just watched one where they tried to replicate the Hollywood heist (like using foundation to illuminate laser security systems), and one with breaking out of jail. I just like Jamie and Adam a lot more.
Jon and Kate used to be interesting and connected with reality when they had to scrimp and save. Now, the show just gets free perks from everywhere they go and I guess people can no longer relate to them. I think the broken marriage really wasn't the target audience for this show.

It's not always that simple. My sister and her ex went through a divorce some 7 years ago. She found out that he was cheating on her and the kids knew. I don't see how it would have been better if they stayed together.
