From this morning. Even when it's cold and rainy Moraine Lake is still beautiful.

A nice moment up at Elbow Pass today, in K-Country. Brisk too . . . . about 8 celcius here with a wind.
Keeper, on the left, celebrated her 10th Gotcha Day today and 11th birthday yesterday. After three operations in the Fall, she finally finished her chemo in the last month and is a cancer survivor with her energy level starting to pick up nicely.

Hurray for Keeper!
Koba, there is something in your second shot at Moraine that puts me off...I think it's a little overdone for my liking....the foreground rocks look over processed. I do like the shot, I'd be interested in seeing the original.

Yea, I actually fixed that after uploading it to flickr. It's because the rocks were wet from the rain and when I added contrast and a slight desaturation the blacks really filled in.
Here is the before and after, except it has the fixed one.

And some more from tonight.

Good job, the new version is improved. It's interesting to compare the before and after, especially with the amount of fog you managed to bring out, you'd never know it was there in the original.
Good stuff as usual.

So I had a pretty wicked day. Went up in a stunt plane with a pilot who will be participating in the Airdrie Air Show next July. We were in a three plane formation, two stunt planes and 1 WWII Harvard. We buzzed around Calgary on Sunday around 2pm, shot out some smoke etc. Then, we flew north of Airdrie where my plane did some stunts. (The other passenger in the other stunt plane was barfing so they didn't get to do it)
Did a bunch of barrel rolls, as well as a loop-de-loop. Got up to about 5g's, my camera (I was taking self-shots at the time) felt about 200 pounds.
Also did a Hammer Head, where he put the plane straight up in the air, and let it drop down. Freaky as hell! I've got some cool personal shots, but I'm not posting them here. So, have a gander at these.
PS: I was so freaked out taking the upside down one of the pilot. I was scared of dropping the cam and having it smash through the canopy!! It was also super turbulent due to the high winds, which made for lots of sudden drops.
But, I survived without puking! One of the coolest experiences ever.
My Stunt Plane:
The Harvard:
The Harvard over Calgary:
The other stunt plane and downtown Calgary:
And... hanging out upside down north of Airdrie.

That has got to be one of the coolest things to do. Is this part of some company you can pay to do? I'm very interested in doing something like that. Great pictures too!

Jayems, it's already be said but that's awesome. You should get the upside down photo printed big to hang on your wall.
