I wouldn't worry about this - the motherboard capacitors are all going to be low voltage. If you were really paranoid you could just short them out with a screwdriver once everything is unplugged from the wall.

CRT and TV screeens are another story altogether - don't touch anything in those unless you are a qualified or educated technical person. These devices can hold potentially lethal charges in their active components such as capacitors for days, if not weeks.

I won't be posting any video cause this is how it will go.

Holds logic board up to camera.

Points out cap that is puffed up.

Grabs iron and touches it to old solder points.

Realizes it's not plugged in.

Once hot, goes for first solder point.

Dog comes up and licks barefeet.

Barnes yells at dog.

Solder iron falls on hardwood floor.

Barnes swears.

Wife yells what's wrong?

Barnes says nothing and hopes she doesn't notice black scar on hardwood.

Barnes removes capacitor.

Barnes turns over logic board to realize he miss counted and bad capacitor is still on.

Goes to get a beer and regroup and knocks capacitors on the floor and they roll down the heat register.

Fade to black.

But yes, I would love any help. My priority is getting my deck finished among other super secret things for now.
