Logistically it would be a pia.....but If I could confirm 500 tix sold for....$110/ticket..... I would do it.....
The extra $10.00/ticket to cover incidentals and the pia factor

I was going to comment what I thought about the car, but people would murder me about what I thought of it. So I will just say, good luck on selling it. I am sure if you looked beyond CP you could make a profit from it. Just saying...
And the Challenger is about 1000x better looking than the Camaro. That's all I'll say on the Camaro.

Well, cars are pretty subjective...The Challenger is a nice car, it is definitley the most retro of the 3 ponycars....the camaro has the futuristic take on the retro look.
But hey, if you like a fat, overweight, overpriced, underpowered gas guzzling hog...then the challenger is definitely the one!
You have to step up into the SRT version to get even close to the camaro SS specs...mucho $$$
I will admit they will be much more 'collectible' as the company that produced them really isnt anymore....

I didn't say the Challenger is a better car, it just looks better, but I still think they all look ridiculous. I know the Camaro is a better car, you think Dodge can make a good vehicle? No, GM at least has the Corvette ZR1.

The Shelby's are nice, I really like the refreshed 2010 Shelby's....which brought about a nice 10K discount on the '09's. They are a great car, until you have to actually turn a corner, then the solid rear axle really shows its age. If ford had put an IRS in that car similar to the new camaro, they would have had an exceptional car, not just a great car...
IMO you cant compare the shelby to the Camaro as they are not in the same class.....it would run up against the Z06 Corvette, which it doesnt compare to favourably with

I prefer the stupid ridiculousness of Viper's over Corvette's.

Guys- let's keep in mind this is the "Buy & Sell" forum- and not off topic. If you want to debate cars use one of the threads over there.

I think you should charge 110 a ticket with the extra 10 being split between calgarypuck and you in equal parts.
Calgarypuck members get first crack at the 500 tickets, but CP volunteers who will not be buying a ticket have to help sell and coordinate.
You'll also need a raffle permit, which shouldn't be hard to get.
I am TOTALLY in for at least one ticket.

Although the logistics of selling $100 tickets to 500 strangers is a tall order, (I'd suggest 250 at $200, but that's just me), if this is a go I am in for a couple tickets easily...sorry, one for me, one for my wife!
