Default Tiger Woods 10.... anyone have it yet?

Hey anyone have this game yet?

Just downloaded and played the demo on xbox, seems decent. Shipped today but have heard some places have it.

Called Wal-mart @ 130th and they said end of June

I'd be surprised if places like EB Games don't have it in tomorrow.

Wii version is supposed to be the definitive version by most account's. Debut of the Motion+ and more courses than the 360/PS3 versions.

I'll be getting it for the PS3 or 360 eventually but I'm not a big enough golf fan to justify paying $70 for it.

I was really disappointed with the last one and got rid of it. The driving was fine and the long irons alright. But short irons and the putting were sad. Simply no feel on the chipping at all. Shots from the bunkers just dumb. Putting off as well as the weight given to a putt didn't transfer realistically.

I won't buy another unless there is a vast improvement in those areas.

The putting is a whole lot different this time around. Check out the demo, it's four holes and should give you a good idea if it's worth it.

I'm kind of thinking about getting the wii version but then I won't be able to play with my buddies online (they all have PS3's). But that motion control might be worth checking out.

I'm just waiting for a review or two to drop today and then I'm going to pick it up. I'll post some impressions to see if the Motion+ is as good as advertised (and IGN & co. have talked it up bigtime).

Just an FYI for any other nerdy golf fans like myself, Futureshop Shawnessy has about 5 copies on the shelf (not sure what they have in the back) of the wii motion plus version.

I bought the Wii version with motion thing at EB in Chinook. I'll probably load the game up in a bit here.

Picked up mine at EB Games Northhill. They had 360 (and I'm assuming PS3) versions as well.

Putting is very, very good on the Wii version. Now it's not only how far you bring the putter back, but how hard you swing into the ball with it.

I'm going to finish my first 18 and then see how the Disc Golf is. If it's solid then that's a major plus for the Wii version.

That was my opening round. Finishing -1 using the advanced controls (no putt preview, draw/fades are controlled via Motion+).

Putting is excellent. Much improved from past year's. I'd only played them for a round or two at friend's houses, but this year it seems to be much more consistent from what I could tell.

Draws/Fades work well, but they require some practice. The Motion+ is definitely very sensitive. A subtle turn of the club face is all that's necessary. I was trying to do the classic Wii overcompensation, but that's unecessary now. The other big thing is that every shot isn't perfectly straight anymore. It's very easy to be off left or right now and it really adds a lot to the gameplay.

Disc Golf is simple, but very fun. Should be a blast with a couple people over.

I was just reading some of the features on this - it can look up the weather on the course you are playing and simulate it. So if it is windy and drizzle at Banff Springs right now it will be windy and drizzly in the game.

After playing the game on the Wii, with the new hardware, it's hard to think about going back to the 360 or PS3 versions of Tiger Woods. This is the definitive version.

That would make it really tough in January!

Do you Wii players play with the golf club attachment or just swing the controller?

Yeah anyway I picked up the game today, very impressed with the mechanics, graphics suck but hey it's a wii. Worth the purchase so far, more content then the other systems.
