When did we have our first snowfall this year? November? If so, then that's 8 months of snow. No wonder people create threads like the "tube top" one...

Just saw a few bits of white mixed in with the rain in McKenzie Towne. Good timing, just got all of the plants covered/ moved into the garage.

What did you cover them with? I just ask because I used a couple of old sheets and don't really know if that is good enough?

Little bit of snow, mixed with rain in Erinwoods. Any snow we do get won't amount to anything anyways.

Yep, that's all I used as well. I know they will be wet and not have a great deal of insulation value, but all that's needed is to keep the frosty air and the bit of snow off them. The ground should still have enough warmth to do the rest.

To be fair, I don't think it should count as snow if a) it melts upon hitting the ground and b) it only lasts for like half an hour.

If by an inch from the ground they are still snow flakes, I call it snow. I melted right away and lasted only 20-30 minutes, but it still snowed today...in June.

Effffff-ohhh! It's gonna freaking freeze here tonight guaranteed. Do we get any moisture??? Noooooo. Screw you weather. If we don't get rain soon, we're screwed. While snow wouldn't exactly be great, it'd be better than nothing (if it melted right away that is)

Screw you Al Gore. I hope you freeze to death you prick.

It's crazy...

I was in Prince Rupert and Fort Nelson this week and it was in the high 20s... and it snows in Calgary... talk about strange weather.

Yeah I flew back from Terrace today and the last three days temp highs were 32, 32, 30. And it snowed all night at work...yuck...some of the communities in the higher elevations in the NW had some accumulation on cars and grass and such.
