Federer is gonna win this. The other competitors don't pose a huge challenge.

LOL @ whoever said Agassi is overrated/doesn't deserve a grand slam. That is too funny. He was one of the best all around players to ever play the game.

Don't know about that. The 3 remaining are absolutely bombing the ball. Each of them have only lost a set or two and have cruised through knocking both Nadal and Murray out. They're all dirtballers who are more comfortable on clay. Federer has two very tough matches ahead of him.

They showed a stat of Rogers possible opponents for the next three rounds and he was something like 35-1 against them.

Never lost a set to Del Potro (his Semi-Final opponent) in five matches. Beat him 6-3, 6-4 at Madrid three weeks ago, as well as last year at Madrid (the only two clay matches).

Lost one set (in 2005) in 9 career matches vs Soderling. Beat him in Madrid 6-1, 7-5. Has defeated him 4 times on clay.

12-1 vs Gonzalez. Beat him last year at the French Open 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4. Beat him in 2005 at the French Open 7-6, 7-5, 6-2.

So 26-1 against his potential three opponents. 14-0 on clay against said opponents. I'd say he's got a pretty good chance.

Those are impressive! But stats mean nothing. Nadal hadn't even gone to a 5th set in 31 matches at Roland Garros

No doubt Federer is a huge favorite, but I'd like to see these guys just go for it. Not only is this an open door for Federer, it's a great chance for them too.

Federer and Del Potro look like they're about to be headed to the fifth set right now.

Looks like Feds is up a break in the 5th set. GOOOOOOOO ROGER!!! If he wins the French he will be the best male tennis player ever.

3-3 now with Roger reeling.

Followed by a double fault choke job by DP. 4-3 Roger with him serving.

Now 5-4 with Roger serving.

and he wins and has a chance for the one elusive grand slam he does not have.

Awesome match. When I turned it on when I woke up I was not expecting Roger to be done a set, but what a match for him to come back.

It amazes me how a different surface can turn a great player in a good one. You would think they would have tennis programs with all the different surfaces and you just rotate day to day to have a feel for them all growing up.

That match was right there for the taking for DP. See how he got down on himself choked on a couple at least double faults. Calm and cool as ever RF calls upon his wealth of experience and pulls it out. But it really ain't Roger's best surface. He has to use every shot he has in the bag and fight tooth and nail to beat guys he blows away on other surfaces. He should have a big edge mentally over the Swede in the finals and that might be all it takes to win.

Roger is great on clay. This is his fourth straight French Open final and the year before that, he reached the semi finals. He is great on clay. Nadal is just invincible (at least until this year).

Lets go Soderling!!!

Amazing how Del Porto threw that match away today.

Hopefully the Swede can come through but I have a bad feeling he will throw out a stinker and let Roger walk away with the match.

I just meant he looks normal on clay vs other surfaces.

Some idiot just ran onto the court and really startled Roger.

Took the security a minute to catch him, then a nice tackle.

What a jerk!
