Just finished season 1 (which was only 9 episodes, I am assuming shortened due to writer's strike).

In general, found it pretty good, don't know if I'd describe it as great though. The ending scene to season 1 was pretty amazing though. The one with Johny Cash and the guys being thrown into the pool. Although as a Terminator you'd think that they would have an interest in keeping FBI agents alive, as they seem to be the ones enforcing the status quo which eventually leads to Skynet... or maybe skynet is inevitable so he might as well discretely kill as many humans now to get the process going.

Maybe I'm overthinking this.

Anyways, how is season 2? Does the show pick up, stay the same, trail off? I'm pretty ambivilent at this point, may just watch the Wire instead.

Are you thinking X-Files? Actually, that show had terrible ratings (relatively speaking, at the time) at first. It was a small miracle it was renewed for a second season. Ratings didn't peak until after it was moved to Sunday nights.

The real problem with SCC was the massive, massive budget. WB actually fronted most of the money, as a tie in for the movie. Now that the movie's been released...

Watch Season Two, a couple of episodes not that great, but that amazingly good episodes more than make up for a couple of slow ones.

Just finished the series. Not bad at all. I'm a fan of the Terminator series though. Still haven't seen the new movie...

Argh!!! You bumped the thread, thus giving false hope to all those who came to read it.

I actually don't watch this show. I only watched the first season and wanted to see a resolution to the whole Cameron story but I didn't really care for the show in the 2nd. It lost it's way and got too complicated with them going pro-active. The show was best with them on the run. That's what brings in the general audience as well.
