Default how much is my pool table worth?

I don't know the first thing about pool tables. Mine isn't used at all even when we are entertaining guests.

I'm looking to sell it, but other than eBay, I wouldn't know the first place to look to find it's value.

I can't find any distinguishing marks to figure out any type of make or model.

Any help would be appreciated. Pictures to follow later this week.

Careful with that. Quite often a pool table is only worth someone else's will to remove it from your house. If it's a nice one, I believe either prior experience moving them, or else professional movers are in order.
For some reason, I looked this up a few months ago and I learned that you can screw up (not only your back) assembly of them fairly easily. Though I also remember thinking that all you need is a level and half a brain and it shouldn't be a big deal.

Looking on kijiji, this one is close... ID 130536152.

I'd post the link but I'm on my iPod touch.

I use to be in the business, the only tables I ever saw with no name on them were chinese knockoffs. Some of them played pretty well but were very cheap new and fell apart if moved a few times.

What size? 4.5 x 9 are the most popular, what type of pockets? boston or snooker? if it has snooker pockets (rounded) you might have trouble giving it away.1/2 inch slate or 3/4? a good table has at least 3/4.

lol, I used to love guys like you with a carpenter's level, It was a nice quick $100.00 cash for 5 minutes of work (minus the drive of course)

Word of advise to anyone who wants to save money when buying a pool table, most of the assembly is easy but time consuming and costly if you get a pro to do it.

Assemble everything yourself except the seating of the slate, cloth and rails. a pro can do those hard things and level it up in less than 2 hours.

I used a 12 inch Machinist's Level simular to this one. But even with the right tools it's an art form to do a fast perfect job.I knew guys that could level a table perfectly in 2 minutes if the tables had "screw feet" (which most do)

Might I remind you that I don't know the first thing about tables other than to play on them.

Sounds like it will be a bigger hassle to sell it than I thought. I always thought moving it would be a big deal cause it's heavier than hell.

Just trying to get creative, sell some things that I don't quite use right now. A picture may be tough too, cause the pool table is being used as the "Put it here if we're selling it in a yard sale" place.
