Thumbs up Where can I get a free-standing heavy bag?

I don't want those small red ones you see at Wal*Mart. Those don't last too long. I've seen bulkier black ones made by the same company that look like they have the same stand.

Does anyone know where I can find one? I looked in Dragon's Den Martial Arts Supplies in Inglewood but no luck.

^Tried. At three different locations. They are either the cheap small one, or those ones you have to attach to your ceiling, or one of those ones that have bars on the side.

I am looking for this:

but a bulkier version.

Kidnap someone you hate, stand them up in a basin, fill with concrete, let cure, punch.

I bought a very similar one at the SportChek in Fort Mac. Not suggesting you travel of course but they actually had a good selection and that's in a place known for terrible shopping. I would think any SportChek in Calgary would have a good assortment.

Try most any bar, or buffet, in Edmonton.

"Freestanding" part is debateable, depending on what stage of the night you arrive at either place.

As for an athletic punching bag, Walmart, Canadian Tire, maybe even Sears is also probably a good place for that.

Perhaps try some of the fitness places, like Fitness Depot.

This place looks promising: http://www.dragonsden.net/equip.html

Yeah, I'd forgotten he said that and when google found it, well.....

So when they say, "If we don't have it we can probably get it" they were fibbing?
