On Sunday, May 24, 2009, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Calgary
Police Service members responded to a weapons complaint in
the 500 block of Sabrina Road S.W.

Containment was set up on the residence and at some point
during the situation, a man was challenged by police and a
CPS weapon was discharged.

This person was transported to a local area hospital where he
later succumbed to his injuries.
