Windsor is finally starting to play like the powerhouse team that they have been all year. Up until now, I haven't been that impressed with them. But man, can Ellis hammer a puck?!

Then again, maybe not. 2-2.

If this is the best that Windsor has to offer then Kelowna should win the Mem Cup in a walk.

The Spitfires have been better than Rimouski and should be up, but losing 3-2 is pathetic no matter how much better you have been.

Ellis hasn't really impressed me in this game - hard shot, but it's not really getting through. Reminds me of Phaneuf's year.

Terrible loss by Windsor there.

They were the much better team but that goalie let in a lot of weak goals. They seem to be a bit of a young team so I wonder if they aren't getting a bit tired.

Funny to here Constantino try to pump up Rimouski as a contender after they were just dominated by the 4th place team at the tournament. I am sure that Drummondville, after beating them 4 straight 2 weeks ago and Kelowna, after kicking the crap out of them 2 days ago, are really shaking in their boots at the thought of having to play the Oceanic.

Color me un-impressed by Loktionov. He is a perimeter player and will do anything to avoid being hit. Windsor's top line is just not getting it done.

On Nemisz: He is good at the little things and very much a two way player. It seems to me he cannot use his big frame yet, and he will need atleast 20 pounds or so, but he is very responsible defensively. Like to see him shoot more as well.........

Any info on the Rockets/Oceanic games? How was Backlund and Grantham? Any points? Solid play?

Backlund was very impressive. He made a beauty of a pass of his second assist. Didnt really pay much attention to Grantham though but like I said, Backlund was very impressive.

Does anybody play other than the first line for Drummondville? They must have played about 15 of the first 17 minutes in the first period.

Also, any chance the reffing is going to get better in this tournament?

I'm watching the Pens game now, but it looked like Kelowna was all over Drummondville.

Drummondville clearly the 2nd best team in this game but that was the case against Windsor and they were able to win that game.

Drummondville up 3-2 halfway through the 2nd.

3-3 now, Jamie Benn with his second of the night (third point) ties it up. That's a damn fine 5th round find for Dallas.

Off the post on the open net for his 5th goal and 6th point. Pretty impressive game for Jaimie Benn. Looks like Dallas has themselves a player there.

He looked great out there no question although the Mike Mathers guy that last scored 6 points in a game went on to not even play a game in the AHL so only time will tell how good Benn will be.

Yeah, I remember Mike Mathers quite well. Had a great game in the semi finals of the 92 Memorial Cup in Seattle when the Blazers clobbered the T-Birds in the semi-final. I remember my dad ordering tickets to the final the next day half way through that game after the Blazers blew it wide open. Him and Craig Lyons were pretty good junior players for the Blazers in 92 and 93. Shayne Green and Zac Boyer scored a lot in the day too. Difference is that none of those guys despite their gawdy numbers ever represented Canada at the World Juniors whereas Benn has. Than again another former Star Tyler Bouck who made two consecutive Canadian Junior teams in a row and was almost the Captain of the team when he was 19 never did a whole lot after junior. No doubt anything could happen.
