I've got an LG Voyager, which isn't technically a smartphone, but practically is, and I've used 4.9 gigs since I got the phone in July of 08. So I suppose that comes out to 400 or 500 megs a month. Since it isn't technically a smartphone, all I need for unlimited data is the $15 a month VCAST add-on with Verizon.

My usage last month (iPhone) was 408MB received, 15MB sent. The most I have ever used was 800MB in a month (lot of internet radio)

I'm amazed at how any one would need any more than 1GB of data each month...

Phone: Blackberry
Usual data activities: Browsing, email, Blackberry Messenger, MSN Messenger, several Apps that use data (weather, The Hockey News, etc.).

Last month: 133857 KB
March: 100367 KB

Nice thread! Anyways, I have 500MB cause my blackberry has wifi so it saves me a lot of data usage when at home.

Does anyone know of a way or BB app to track data usage? But since I use wifi at home it might be hard.

I thought this was for home internet use. Telus used to track it, but hasn't since I upgraded speeds. *shrugs*

I have Mobile Data Alerter. It's a free trial right now, but I'm still looking for a free app though.

Googled it and found out that the only free one is mini-moni and its a beta.
