When I bought my last pair last summer, I had to go to an optometrist shop, IRIS The Visual Group. Each location seemed to have slightly different models stocked too.
Like you, I found that Sunglasses Hut no longer carried them. I had purchased a pair there about 5 years ago.

Another Oakley fan here. Their warranty policy is what makes me a repeat customer.
Broke a pair of sunglasses in the mosh pit at Edgefest about 10 years ago, sent it back and they sent me a brand new pair. I even got to pick a new color as my color was no longer being manufactured! Bonus!
They started making some non-sporty models as well, so hopefully you can find a model you like.
Spare Parts (Market Mall, Chinook and Sunridge) has a good selection of shades.
OT: Noticed a lot more people having Oakley prescription glasses now too.

it is what the pros use in racing, cycling, running, shooting, beach volleyball, skating (hockey, too)...even military use. look at all the olympic athletes and other sports figures.
yes, they are expensive. but, unlike other expensive brands (CK, Nike, Scott, Gargoyle, LV, Coach, Adidas, etc.) you are getting a quality product.
with other brands, you are paying for the name. in fact, you may not get 100% UV protection...and you will get lens distortion.
with Oakley you are paying for the quality of the lens (yeah, and brand too), 100% UV protection, no distortion, impact protection (can be used as saftey glasses, meets or exceeds saftey regulations)
I will only wear Oakley sunglasses and frames. I have 5 of sunglasses, 3 pairs of prescription (frames).
Check out their stuff, not only sunglasses. http://oakley.com/

Damn you and your sound reasoning!
You have nearly convinced me to buy another pair of sunglasses, likely the Oakley Juliet Ducati editions.
I own five other pairs of sunglasses that I switch around, Oakley Canteens, Polarized Ray-Bans, Polarized Adidas, Pumas, and some Euro-style dress Ray-Bans. Yes, I know, six pairs is a little excessive, but I've had three eye surgeries in my life, and my eyes are one thing I really don't cheap out on at all.
The Polarized Ray-Bans are about 3 1/2 years old, but have seen better days. They have some small superficial damage, despite trying to take decent care of them. They really aren't durable at all. I find Ray-Ban is a great designer brand, but not really an active brand at all. My first polarized Ray-Ban pair only lasted two years, the frame broke, and that was that. I probably won't buy another pair of Ray-Bans again for everyday use. Not one pair of Ray-Bans were under $150.
The Adidas ones were cheap for being UVA, UVB and polarized ($70), but they aren't as versatile or nice as the oakleys.
The Puma ones are mostly for style, they aren't that great, but they look nice and were under $100.
My Oakley Canteens are about 2 years old now, and survived a few direct blows from soccer without a scratch or dent. They are easily the most comfortable. They aren't polarized, but I find they are better with glare than the polarized Adidas or polarized Ray-Bans. I think I paid something like $130 for them. I highly recommend Oakley enough that I think I might dole out the relatively huge cash for the Juliets.
Would anyone suggest O Zone for these, or should I order direct from oakley.ca?

Ozone would be pretty good for them. Or if an outlet mall in Calgary has the Oakley Vault, you can get them there too.
Personally, I recommend Oakleys to anyone. They're comfortable and very durable. I like the ability that I could easily switch lenses on my sunglasses. I own a pair of half jackets. I use them when I drive, I use them when I bike, I use them when I walk, I can switch the lenses to different light conditions by simply popping them out and popping the other ones in. I also have a pair of snowboarding goggles from Oakley and could not be happier with them.

Oakleys are generally way cheaper in the states so if you could go that route you could probably get a deal.

I'm a big fan of the Ray Ban green lens (not polarized). I've bought sunglasses that are cuter and pricier than the Ray Bans as more of a style choice. Now that its summer and the sun is so bright, I find myself wearing my boring Ray Bans every day when driving. For me, there's nothing more soothing on my eyes in bright sun than the Ray Ban green lens.

Not to say the rest of the posts haven't been useful, they have been, just need to narrow down the style.
The cheap generic Walmart clip ons, while cool, just aren't going to cut it.

make a weekend out of it and go down to kalispell. It's only a 4.5 hour drive from Calgary and you will save a pile of money on glasses. I bought my Oakley Spikes from the mall in Kalispell for $145 US. At Spare Parts they were $230.
You will also notice if you go to Oakley.com it will automatically defer you to oakley.ca with the price difference as well. Oakley did this when the dollar was at par with US greenback. I thought that was shady business but they have a decent product and they are just trying to make money.
