We have Wednesday and Friday off in my office. Going to take the Thursday as well as the following week off and enjoy Stampede.

Lots of downtown companies will have the Friday off for Parade Day, so I would look for the weekend after to be the potential "long" weekend.

Thinking about it a little more I can't really decide. Stampede week is so laid back here in the office that hardly anybody does any real work.

So should I take that week before off, work during stampede week, and then take the week after off? Or should I just take the consecutive weeks off and have Stampede week off? Hmmmm...

Or just take a few 5-day weekends in a row and work only Mondays/Tuesdays? lol.

Last year I took Stampede week off work- I don't think I'll do that again. There is just something about taking time off in the morning with you boss to go stand in line for an hour for a free breakfast.

I had 3 lunch parties to attend, and I didn't make it to any of them. Just wasn't the same to be going from home as opposed to skipping work to go drinking.
