Default Child Car Seat Travel Bag in Canada?

Hey folks,

Does anyone know where a Travel Bag for children car seats can be purchased in Canada, or specifically Calgary?

I've tried the expected places like Toys R Us, Walmart, and the big department stores. They all carry it the US, but don't in Canada. Amazon.com won't ship them to Canada either, even though they could easily throw it in with my Blu-ray orders.

Here is what they are like:

If anyone can tell me where I could order one online and have it shipped to Calgary, that would be awesome. Or, if they are sold locally somewhere that is good too.

Thanks!

The airline supplied us with a plastic bag for our car seat when we traveled to the states.

If you're set on a travel bag, from the looks of the one on amazon, any smaller hockey bag would do.

I believe you can order from Amazon.com

truth be told I'm not sure how useful it is. We've put the car seats and strollers in those plastic bags the airlines have for 30 some odd flights the last few years and never had an issue.

I agree with the above...it is a waste of $ IMO, we just used the plastic bags from the airlines....

We just used a couple of garbage bags... seemed to work out okay.

One could just go to a fabric store and make yourself one... you could probably do it pretty cheap and make yourself a good denim or canvas bag that would work. It would be pretty easy to make and you could just make the opening like a sinch sack.

That is what we had always done too, up until our last trip.

We went to Hawaii, and the interisland island airlines didnt want to accept the plastic bags. They almost turned us away at the gate, and we had to convince them that we always use the plastic bags. They seemed to think the carry bags were common place among everyone.

I dont mind getting some, if I can. $20 is no big deal.

I would try some of the more pretentious places in town, such as E-children and Bo-bebe.

Funny you should mention KaczKids... I am boycotting them because of a previous and unrelated incident!

I called them, and they do carry them ... but I vowed never to shop there again!

If Kacz has it, E-Children should have it. Best customer service EVER!!!!
If your child has his own seat on the flight (maybe when she/he's older) this is the best invention:

Echildren had a few in stock the last time I was there.
