No! We need less car people buying trucks. Drives me nuts watching some people struggling to navigate a pickup truck or large SUV in traffic and on narrow roads. Some people should just stick to cars.

Not sure if you should be helping pick the colour because you can't even tell what car your friend is buying.
Those cars pictured ARE in fact both Mazda 3s.
Here is a nice pic of one:
Personally I prefer the 2009 Mazda 6. My rents just got one and it is anything but common. I've only seen one other one in the 3 months we've had it.

I posted that from my phone while I was eating lunch. The waiter came by halfway through... anyway, just pretend I didn't mistakenly omit the word "hatchbacks" from my post. I've edited it to fix the error.
(The 6 is irrelevant in this conversation, as he and his wife are only interested in hatchbacks at this time.)

I have to say I've never been a fan of the RX8 (loved the RX7 though), but after seeing a bunch of them in person over the last few weeks... they've climbed a few spots on my list.

Mazda makes a great car,I really like the Mazda 3.
I just bought the Toyota Venza but if the CX7 had a V-6 I would have gone with Mazda.

I really didn't like the CX7. I've driven three different Mazdas on a regular basis but when I was shopping for my current vehicle, the CX7 was my least favourite out of the ones I test drove.

That looks like the same colour of the car in that mitsubishi commercial where they're throwing things out the window into the car. I think you can prove to your buddy that it's a chick car colour by pointing out at the end of that commercial where the girl takes driver's and the dude jumps in shotgun.

Don't like either color, but had to go with A.
I have a 3 (2008.5) and it's a nice Stormy Blue (pretty much navy).

The blue Sportback is way less girly. And not just in colour, it's also got way more aggressive styling.

I chose A as well. The B color is for girls.
Mazda 3's are becoming quite generic. They are getting into Civic/Sunfire/Cavalier territory.
Than again in this city, you can probably say that about the Infinity G35 which I think is a sweet ride.
