So whats next? X-Men 4?
Wolverine and the X-Men like his new cartoon series, or should they just re do the X-Men trilogy, right this time?

If this movie does well, apparently spin-offs for both Deadpool and Gambit will be green lit.

Although Deadpool wasn't the greatest character ever, the only people who seem to be pissed off about him are fanboys. I don't read comics and enjoyed the movie quite a bit, Deadpool wasn't the epic failure most are making him out to be.

"I don't know the source material, so I don't think it was unfaithful."
Ho-hum.
It has potential, I still feel the movie wasn't that good.

i saw the movie yesterday. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed Deadpool when he was normal, Ryan Reynolds is hilarious. Didn't know what was up with the Weapon 11 stuff but I don't know much about Deadpool. Wolverine was much more badass in this than in the XMen movies. One thing that some people might find confusing is that they never really said anything about him changing his name to Logan. It was like all of a sudden everyone is calling him Logan for no reason. Sabretooth was really well done I thought. All in all I'd give about a 3/5. It was good entertainment and that's what it was supposed to be.
The way Hugh Jackman talks about Wolverine you can tell he really loves the character. Ryan Reynolds has also said a few times in interviews that he was a big Deadpool fan and warned people that he wouldn't be what fanboys expected but he hopes to do a spin-off movie. Which is why they had a guy who usually does leading roles play Deadpool, incase the spinoff gets greenlit. I also thought the guy who played Gambit was spot on.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. One minute he was James, the next he was Logan. Anyone here want to explain it to me?

well it seems in the context of the movie that he changed it to hide from everyone. But IIRC he takes the name logan after his memory is erased in the actual story....i could be wrong though

in the movie his name is James Logan... the only reason he remembers Logan is because his dog tags only had Logan stamped on them.

I wish Gambit had had a more Louisiana French accent. Sounded like he was from Tennessee to me.
Also, I'm on the side who doesn't really like what they did with Deadpool in the end. How is he supposed to do that crazy shizz with his swords when they GROW OUT OF HIS ARMS? You can't do anything with a sword that way.

Nothing wrong with Reynolds as Deadpool, the only problem was that I couldn't stop thinking about Van Wilder for every scene he was in.
