I love how the GOP representative is saying Obama should resign over it. Like it's the worst thing a recent president has done...

Pretty sad the amount of waste just to update some stock photos of Airforce One.
This whole operation probably cost U.S. taxpayers a few million easily...not to mention the lost millions in worker productivity as workers streamed out of buildings in the middle of the morning workday in panicked droves.

A few million? The fighters are already on patrol over New York and those Air Force pilots need to put in their flight hours either way. Air Force One costs about $70k per hour per hour to run.
That said it was pretty dumb move.

Where are the Green Peace Nazzis on this. Flying a 742 that low increases the amount of jet fuel spent vs the normal 35k+FL. What was his carbon footprint for that stunt. I assume he will be making the necessary restiution to the environment like planting some trees somewhere or donating money to some BS UN organization?

This is, in public relations terms, a major fiasco. From what I've read, Obama is supremely POed about it, but this could well be the first huge screw-up of his administration. What a disaster.
