Gotta say, I am going to miss going to games this year, but the better team (and by a wider margin than some in Vancouver are willing to admit) won.
Rockets will make a series of it against Calgary, but I will still take the Hitmen in 6.

The colour is still hideous, but that would be by far the coolest feature on a jersey I've ever heard of.

I am actually excited to go and watch the final at the Dome, although I am cheering for the Rockets(due to Backlund).

I will be cheering for Backlund to score 5 goals, but the Hitmen to score 6.
This is our year.

Well to be honest, I am only cheering for the Rockets because of Backlund. I want to see him go all the way, as it would be good for him to be on a championship team. Although in reality if it wasnt for Backlund, I wouldnt really care who won. Its going to be tough for the Rockets to beat the Hitmen though, but Im hoping!
The Flames really need a legit player to come out of the ranks and be that top 6 guy, this can only help his career.

I predict the Rockets will at least win a game.

Wow, awesome news for Sonne!
That's three Hitmen in four years to win MVP.

This may be selfish but I hope the dub final goes at least 5 games so I can make it a game.

I think you should be in luck there. The top of the West was better than the top of the East so Kelowna should be a much tougher match-up for the Hitmen than the Wheatkings were.

I'd say there is little doubt that the two best teams in the league at the end of the regular season are meeting in this series. This should be a good one.

Advice please?
Going to a Hitmen game Friday - my first - are there any 'must wears' or other traditions we should adhere to?

Not really. The one big tradition is the "Kootenay Sucks" chant, which happens regardless of who's playing.

I watched it on the tube here....The entire Windsor team is playing pretty well right now. Nemisz is playing well but the Spitz Russian, Loktionov, is playing real well along with Ellis and Wellwood. I think Ellis is one of the best dmen Ive seen in years. Hes going to be a stud.

Years ago, the fans were asked to wear all black clothes. Is that still the case?
