While Jaguar maybe becoming more cutting edge, I also feel like they are becoming a little more generic in terms of appearance, and getting a little lost in the group. While the older models might not have been great, they were never going to be mistaken for anything other than a Jag. The new models seem to have a little bit of Aston Martin/Tesla Model S/Maserati in them....all nice looking cars, but everyone kind of loses their place when looks begin to merge.
I've always been a bigger fan of BMW over Mercedes (always felt Merc's were a little more snobby, and the fact that you could/can only get Automatics over here doesnt help), but I have to say they are out-doing BMW by a mile design wise at the moment. They look aggresive and contemporary, without resorting to tacked on humps that unfortunately inhabit a lot of BMW's these days.
On Friday I saw an all black 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8. I fell in love right there. I had seen them in the car shows and I saw one last year being off loaded, but for some reason, this one really struck me. They're huge and beefy and mean and I want one.
I know this is a Hurst edition, which is even more, but whateves. Don't think this is my dream car, but it's probably up there in the top 5 right now for sure.
