Jeebus. Live large, lose large. That is quite the story.

I did enjoy the pot and kettle routine when Dykstra, with 24 active suits against him, called out the one doctor suing him over the latter's litany of past suits.

the sad thing is that Lenny has totally snowed himself. I bet he believes every word that comes out of his own mouth.

I finally got around to reading the article and boy was it worth it. Many of us know people like Nails that cover up schemes with grander and bigger schemes hoping that everyone will be so confused that they will eventually just go along and stop with the questions. They prey on people, strangers and family alike. Sad.

It was a great read. Sounds like he is nothing more than a corporate thief clinging to the very last rung.

Good read. Dude seems to be covered in slime. He believes all the garbage coming out of his mouth, but I hope that anyone around him doesnt.

I saw an interview with him awhile ago and I swear I could not understand a word he said, I don't know if he was wasted or he slid into too many catcher's knees in the day.

"Hackett said Washington Mutual, now part of JPMorgan, was the main lender on the 2007 home purchase, and that the bank misled Dykstra about his ability to afford the property. The lawyer said the bank deserves nothing on its claim."

The guy is obviously a scumbag. Strange that he is so popular but has such mediocre stats.

Lenny Dykstra "Psychopath" is the headline in the New York Post business section today, with this illuminating story.

Good find cow, the guy was playing a pretty unhealthy shell game and the economy got a hold of him as athletes started to scale back their spending.

I'm always amazed when I read about people who run up massive credit card bills immediately after getting them, bouncing checks, getting financing amounts at incredible levels and one day they're bankrupt.

I think one of the key things that has to really be reformed is the lending practices of banks, credit card companies and third party financiers. America and to a certain extent Canada's economy runs on credit to the individual to keep things moving, and we need to get this going again, but at some point no has to come into play. There's no way that a man with $50,000 in secured assets should be able to obtained $50,000,000 in unsecured debt.

I agree but when times were good the Banks could afford to string people out like that and make a killing on interest. Now that times are bad and people are claiming bankruptcy left & right, banks are paying for it as they should.
