He was released a couple months ago.

Chiefs trade Tony Gonzalez to the Falcons for a 2nd rounder in 2010
I like it for a couple years that we will get out of Tony, and I think a 2nd isn't too much.
Now Matt Ryan has a TE to rely on.....hmm with R.White/Jenkins/Turner/Norwood we now have a complete offense. Just need to work on our defense through the draft

I wish Gonzalez well in Atlanta. Far and away the best offensive player the Chiefs have had since I've been a fan of theirs starting about 1990. It's going to be strange watching the Chiefs and not having 88 catching passes on 3rd down.

Big move for the Falcons. Now we will get to see if last season was more than just luck.

a 2nd for gonzalez is too much IMO. He isnt getting younger and I value a 2nd rounder almost as much as a 1st. The 1st round in an NFL draft is basically 64 picks. With the amount of positions you have to fill... you could potentially get the 2nd best player in a specific position in the 2nd round. If you look at this years draft, you could get the 2nd or 3rd best RB in the draft in the 2nd round.

Hey I like the Falcons. There`s just something about Mike Smith that I don`t have a lot of faith in. Maybe it`s that nagging fact that he was with the Jags. Sworn enemies of my Colts.

good one
some guys last year like desean jackson, matt forte, eddie royal, martellus bennett were all 2nd rounders close to where this pick will be.
Sure you have to pick a guy like that but 2nd rounders are much more valuble in the NFL then they are in any other sport.

He was at OTA's this past weekend. Other than that it is hard to say. With Pioli's code of silence, nobody seems to know anything out of Arrowhead.

Hopefully off the team. Even if he can still play on field, he's exactly the type of person you don't want around a young team that you want to develop into a winner. Unless you want a perfect example of how NOT to act off the field, and be a good team mate.

yes and they wont be Tony Gonzalez's aswell
Tony for 2 years is better then a average TE we woulda drafted in the 2nd. For that matter, name me a TE that was drafted in the last 2 years in the 2nd round that would compare to TG in the last couple of years?
