I played 4 games with the patch and I'm 3-1 so far. Trurocal and I played a couple and we completely destroyed the other teams by 4-5 goals.

F'in curve wrist shots are back. so lame. other glitch goals out, replaced with the curve shot. booooo.
That, and you can't touch anyone anymore. 20 penalties a game. You're always on the PP or PK and games take 4x as long.

I don't mind the penalties for interference, but its rediculous when you make a clean hit and you get a cross checking penalty. You can avoid interference penalties most of the time by playing disciplined but you can't avoid those cross checking penalties.

i have found a lot of the cross checking penalties still occur when its an interferene situation. seems like they call one or the other. i have always been a big hitting dman, and havent had to change that part of my game really. just gotta make sure they have the puck or are in front of the net.
sucks hearing about the curve shot. haven't really had that problem on ps3. and be patient with all the penalties, they will die down. takes everyone a few days to learn what they can and can't do.

Well penalties aren't too much of a problem. If you play the game like you would play hockey (not skating around like an idiot running people over all the time) then you don't get interference penalties. But if you hit someone without a puck for the sake of hitting them, then you're going to get what you deserve.
Trurocal and I played a team where one guy got like 10 interference penalties for just hitting our players for no reason. We won like 8-2 or something like that.

I'm liking this patch so far. Played with Fire and DJSlang last night and we won a close one. DJ had a sweet deflection goal but Fire was an interference machine
I must admit that it does take some getting used to all the penalties - my first game, I kept getting penalty after penalty. But if you can resist the urge to hit that right stick all the time, you should be alright.

I'm not really liking the patch. I now get killed in the face off circle and get about 10 minutes in penalties.
I guess it will better once I get used to it.

I probably deserved 2 of the 4 interference penalties I got. I don't think I would have been called for a penalty in the real NHL on the other two. Besides going a bit insane with the penalties I am liking the patch.

Hey guys, can you send an invite to:
ComixZone
and
Max Cow Disease
We'd love to get some games in tonight and have some fun. We both play our positions (whichever needs to be filled) properly and well.
Also, I love the patch. Greatest thing to happen to this game thus far.

I've been working a lot of weeknights and I'm getting kind of bored with the game... And if I get annoyed in the middle of the game, I can at least leave when it's OTP. I don't want to leave a teammate hanging.

I still play quite a bit, but not with the team. Seems like interest around here has waned. If you're online, I'll shoot a message off to you and we can try to get a game started.

It seems like everyone gave up playing CP EASHL.
So who still plays? I wanna play some online games but I hate going on team with bunch of random people.
