I hear ya! Why not call this site 12yearoldcanuckbashers.com? Most of you, from what I have read so far, have such an obsession for the Canucks it's laughable.

The type of trash talking that was on the youtube clip happens all the time on the ice. I imagine even some of our precious Flames have said words about other players' girlfriends and wives.

Let's end this Canucks circle-jerk and look forward to our game tonight.

If I had this discussion face-to-face with a more mature Flames fan, there probably wouldn't be this much hate. Once you get the 13 year old "fans" representing Calgary, there's no point even typing. Even the truth to them is a lie.

Well it's the exact same with the Canucks message board, except CDC had 52,000+ members. HFboards isn't too bad, probably the best place to talk hockey. It hasn't been too bad here except for the lame criticism on Luongo's pads.

In all seriousness, coming into this forum today has been a buzzkill. For the early afternoon, the top 2 threads were the MacT firing and the Souray trade rumour thread. Now 2 of the top threads are this one and the Luongo shooter tutor thread.

The Flames open the playoffs TODAY. Enough of the Oiler/Canuck bashing! I could honestly care less what goes on with either of those clubs today. Today is all about the Flames.

Edit: Holy crap! Did anyone see Roger Millions on hockeycentral?? He didn't edit the end of his video and said "c**k sucker! I was doing so well!!" They quickly cut it off and said Roger is having problems in Chicago.

Why is every little thing concerning the Canucks posted on here? This thread isn't news because this stuff goes on all the time in the NHL.

Kesler and Burrows talking about Backes wife was no where near what it would be if Backes or any of the Blues said anything about Bourdon, his girlfriend or Pyatt or his fiance.

That stuff is off limits and every player in the NHL is clearly aware of that. Just look for example at last year when Avery supposedly said something about Jason Blake's cancer and there was almost a brawl before the game. If someone said something about either of those tragedies or the people involved the reaction by the Canucks would be easy to spot.

The stuff said about wives between players was not started by Kesler or Burrows and there was probly tons of it going on during the game by both sides. Pretending like no one on the Flames or any other team has never said anything about another players Wife/Girlfriend is ignorant.

Still hate Burrows and Kesler with a passion, this does nothing to change my mind about that.

It would be interesting to hear the kinds of things said between benches in a game, I'm sure Pierre McGuire and Ray Ferraro would have plenty of stories based on the 1-up, 1-down brodcast method TSN employs.

Ferraro has talked about a couple of times how when he started doing between the benches the people are TSN made a big deal about the fact that when those kinds of things are being said between the bunches he has to keep his microphone on mute.
