$130 - yikes! I know its laser, but still lol. A mouse is a mouse! How much do you guys spend? Do you have wired or wireless?

Wireless is nice to have, but its still not up to par with wired.

I got my Logitech wireless laser mouse on sale for $70. It was regular $130.

I used to use a wireless mouse, but unfortunately it ran on batteries. The only way I would buy one again is if it had a docking station that charged it.

Yeah I've had a few Logitec wireless mice and they had base stations that worked as chargers, and I loved them.

I did get an MX1000 but found it (and its replacement) to be horrible and got an MX510 wired mouse instead. I suspect I got two from a bad batch however; it was basically unusuable.

Never had optical, went straight from the rollie style. I still don't notice a difference, except that it doesn't gum up.

I just bought a wireless logitech mouse about 4 months ago. It ran out of juice a week ago. I'm ok with that moneywise, but I'm questioning whether I need to be chucking batteries 3 times a year for very little added convenience. I only bought it because my old one's buttons were getting screwey and I ended up with computer rage.

BTW, it cost 50 bucks and works great.

Note to PETA: the mouse's death was slow and painful. Put that in your pipe and somethingorother.

I've got the Mx510 and it's great, I'm really happy. I think I paid like $50 for it but I saw it at Staples in Westhills for like $30 a week or so ago

holy - then thats not worth it. Youll be spending more on batteries every year than the mouse itself haha.

MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 with finger print reader. 69$

The mouse wheel moves back and forth and side to side. Excel has never been better.

I use the back and forward buttons on the the side of mine. Websurfing is so much better.

Had it three months, haven't replaced batteries yet. I use WIn 2000 at work so the finger print reader it comes with which needs Xp is useless. But it sure looks fancy.

The Logitech Mx510 is the best mouse I've ever used. Not wireless but it's outstanding nevertheless. I need to make my new employers buy me one :P

the biggest thing i dont like about wireless mice is that they tend to be pretty heavy, and probably tires out the wrists when in constant use.
