No joke. It's a great place to live. Slower pace of life and still within a 20 minute drive to Calgary.

Meh, a spring storm's pretty expected in C-town every year. I'll never forget back in '01 when we got hit with a huge freak snowstorm in the last week of May. I had to get help to push my car up James McKevitt.

What I'm not impressed about is what could be up to 15cm here today in Deadmonton...

Beautiful day in Lethbridge, there hasn't been any sign of snow for months and the grass is starting to turn green!

If you're used to breathing in Calgarys smog and pollution i can understand why you'd think it smells funny here.

That Catelli plant (I think that's what it is) absolutely reeks. You can get used to it, and it's not all the time, but it stinks. And the town sometimes smells like a farmyard when the wind is right.

Anyway, the snow in Calgary is gone, but doesn't it always snow in April anyway? I'm surprised at all the griping I'm hearing (not just here).

And the best animal rescue place is there. Heaven Can Wait. Amazing place - a true no-kill shelter. I dog walk some of the rescue dogs on Sundays.

Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes 'round the moon
Just when I thought our chance had passed
You go and save the best for last
