There are a few playoff teams that are in violation of roster limits right now either at the CPHL or AHL level.

You still must abide by those limits so please fix your issues otherwise you will be fined.

Non-playoff teams are now in the off-season so they may exceed any of the watchdog limits.

No but I'm going to do some of that stuff tonight and upload a new roster file.

I was a violator. Forgot that when I called up my schlub that it would take away another AHL body and leave me below the requirements. But that should be fixed now, and my team barely complies.

I'm not a violator but what happens if teams are not in compliance by the time the playoffs start. I'm assuming they will get fined but are they allowed to play with a roster that is over the cap?

No. But its a difficult thing for us to catch. If a GM knowingly dresses an illegal lineup particularly in the playoffs they stand a good chance of getting canned.

Feeling a little nervous Neil, you must be talking about me since I'm currently the only playoff team over cap...

for the record Neil just came off IR (as you know) and was waived directly afterwards and BEFORE Grant made this post.

Now, I had zero intentions to play him honestly... I actually consider him no longer on my roster personally.... BUT, due to this I'm thinking he might just start the Hurricanes first game due to the fact that unless there's a delay in games played he could still be on my CPHL roster before he's been cleared to the AHL (or another team)

Like i said I had zero intentions of playing him, but who knows now

To be completely honest, my post had nothing to do with you. As you stated, we already talked and I know where your team is. There are a couple other teams out there who are in violation of the limits(in terms of AHL sizes, etc).

I wish you the best of luck in the playoffs Doug. Against a lot of teams it's fun to trash talk with, but with the stuff that me and you went through in our personal lives this past year, you are the one GM who I can relate to on that level.
